Actor Vikram
Prabhu is very happy to be part of the films releasing on
Deepavali day next month. The young actor, who is the son of
veteran actor Prabhu and the grandson of the late and legendary
Sivaji Ganesah, would be making his debut as an actor with Kumki
which has him pairing up opposite Lakshmi Menon of
Sundarapandian fame.
Kumki has been directed by Prabhu Solomon, the award-winning
director of Mynaa, who predicts a bright future for Vikram
Prabhu in Kollywood in the years to come. Even before the
release of his debut film as an actor, Vikram has been signed up
by popular producer-director Lingusamy to star in a film to be
made under his home production.
The shoot of the as-yet-untitled film kicked
off in Chennai yesterday. Vikram, who shot for the entire
shooting schedule of Kumki outdoors and in forest areas, is very
happy to be leaving from home to directly take part in a film’s
shoot within the city limits. The lanky star exuded confidence
that the film would turn out to be a successful venture.
Saravanan, who impressed the critics and the movie-goers alike
with his last year’s debut directorial venture Engeyum Eppodhum,
would be directing this Vikram Prabhu-starrer. The heroine and
the other cast of the film would be finalized and revealed
later. |
