 Actress Reema
Sen is pregnant. The Bengali actress, who has starred in quite a
few Tamil films during the past decade, got married to
Delhi-based hotelier Shiv Karan Singh in March this year.
Reemma has continued to act in films even after her marriage and
has been the telling friends circle on how understanding and
cooperative her husband is and didn’t object to her decision to
star in films post-marriage. The actress has now confirmed she
is ‘pregnant’ and doctors have informer her, the baby is
expected in March next year.
Reema was playing a prominent role -not the
heroine, though in an upcoming film titled Sattam Oru Iruttarai
produced by actor Vijay. The film, as readers might have guessed
rightly, is the remake of an Vijaykanth-starrer of the same name
which was directed by Vijay’s father S.A. Chandirasekaran in the
eighties. Superstar Rajinikanth made his debut in Hindi movies
through the film’s remake titled as Andhaa Kaanoon.
After her marriage, Reema had a Bollywood release in Gangs of
Wasseypur which did very well at the box-office. The ‘bump’ in
Reemma’s stomach has become too prominent for her to continue to
act in films.
Reema has let it known to the producers and directors of the
films in which she is starring at present that she can’t
continue to star in those films.
She has, however, told them that she would be back in action
within a few months of delivering her first baby in March, 2013. |
