Music Director Yuvan Shankar Raja plans to direct a Tamil film!

The multi-faceted Yuvan Shankar Raja is all set to explore another lesser-known side of him of that of a film-maker.

Father Ilaiyaraaja besides being known for his prowess as a music director, singer and a lyricist, has also floated his own production house and had produced films.

Yuvan goes one up than his illustrious father and would be producing and directing films. Easily among the most talented music director in the industry at present, Yuvan floated a production house named ‘White Elephant’ and started making film with Selvaraghavan, his close friend in the past. However, due to misunderstanding, the duo separated and the production house couldn’t bloom.

Yuvan now has hinted at making his own film in which his brothers Karthick Raja, Venkatprabhu and Premgi Amaran would be contributing significantly and also has in mind of asking father ilayaraja to for score the film’s music.

Off-late Yuvan has been taking regular breaks from his musical assignments to fine-tune the script and in story-discussions. At the same time, he asserts that scoring music would always remain his first love.
